Dr. Swarnendu Kumar Chakraborty is presently working as an Associate Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh, Govt. of India since 2011. He is having more than 14 years of teaching experience. He has handled many administrative positions like Head of the Department, Dean Finance, Dean of Student Welfare, Prof. In/Charge of Training & Placement Cell and also acted as Co-ordinator, employability of skill training. His research areas are Advanced Error Control, Distributed System, Software Defined Network, Wireless Network, Cryptography and Information Security. He is the author of more than several peer-reviewed publications of SCI, SCIE and SCOPUS indexed journals of high impact factor. He has been guiding research scholars both Under Graduate and Post Graduate. Six research scholars have been awarded with Ph.D degree under his supervision since 2016 to 2023. Dr. Chakraborty has been honoured with Ph.D degree from National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh in 2015. He completed his M.Tech from Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur in 2009 and and B.Tech from St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology in 2006.
