National Institute of Technology ,Arunachal Pradesh recently completed construction of Bamboo Auditorium called TEL Centre at YUPIA Campus.
Two numbers of auditorium were approved for NIT A.P. ,localised
area at Jote and at YUPIA.This auditorium is constucted by using mostly Bamboo technology.
This TEL Centre will be used for conducting various programs to enhance the teaching and learning process
to inculcate the right knowledge in the minds of youngsters in technical way .
TEL Centre will also be used for conducting various workshops,conferences and FDP(Faculty Development Program) .
TEL Centre will also be known as smart auditorium as it is well equipped with state of art tecnology for smart interactive blackboard.
1. The TELC may be provided only during working hours from 9:15AM to 5:15 PM.
2. The keys should be taken and returned back to the TELC in-charge after completion of program.
3. The faculty in-charge
will be responsible for safe keeping of the various equipments in TELC like microphones/projector/computer system etc.
4. No damage should be done in name of decoration.
5.The TELC should
be kept in proper order before handing over the keys to the TELC in-charge or undersigned.
6. Any kind of foods are not allowed inside the TELC.
7. TELC booking will be allowed for academic
purpose (no cultural feast, fresher’s welcome etc related programme will be allowed).
8. Maintenance charge is Rs 1000/- per day should deposit in institute account. Submit the form along with
the payment.
9.Prior information should provide to i/c of TELC for booking confirmation.
This exquisite bamboo Auditorium was inaugurated by hon'ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh - Brigadier(Dr.) B.D. Mishra.Technology Enhance Learning Centre ,also known as TELC on 28th September 2019.It is made possible by sponsorship of North-East Council,Shillong implemented by Cane and Bamboo Technology Centre (CBTC).Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh,Shri Chowna Mein and Member of Legislative Assembly (14th Doimukh Constituency) Shri Tana Hali Tara was present to grace the occasion with their endeavouring and education-oriented speech for overall development of the students of Arunachal and abroad.
The auditorium is build keeping in mind about the various technical specification and blends of bamboo.RCC column is build with 3 meters from ground level.All are made from bamboo with truss work,bamboo tied with jute.Tie beam is used for foundation.Roofing is done by the ridge covering and metal roofing are used.Total height of auditorium is about 25 foot from ground level.The reinforcement is made from T.M.T bars having maximum yield strength.
