The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established right from the inception of the Institute in 2010. It is renamed as the Department of Electrical Engineering in 2013-14 with the approval of the Senate. The department now runs B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and M.Tech in Renewable Energy and Energy Management (REEM), and PhD programs.
