Toycathon 2021, Grand Final event in NIT Arunachal Pradesh

National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh, has been selected by MIC/AICTE for hosting Toycathon 2021 Grand Final, an event conducted by Govt. of India to promote indigenous toy industry. Around 21 teams from different parts of India have confirmed their participation for Digital Toycathon event. Now only Digital Hackathon is being conducted from 22^nd June 2021 to 24^th June 2021 due to existing Covid 19 pandemic.

Under the leadership of Director, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, Prof. Pinakeswar Mahanta, the Institute is geared to host this unique virtual 3-day event that will promote youth development and boost the Indian Toy Industry. Inauguration of Digital ‘Toycathon 2021’ event was held virtually by NIT Arunachal Pradesh on June 22^nd, 2021 (8am-8:45am), where Chief Guest Dr. Arun Kumar Sarma, Director General, North East Centre for Technology Application and Reach (NECTAR), Guest of Honour, Mr. Mridu Mahandra Das, CEO of Automovill tech. Pvt. Ltd, and Prof. Pinakeswar Mahanta, Director of NIT Arunachal Pradesh, were shared their words of wisdom with the young and upcoming toy innovators. Dr. Sahadev Roy, Convener and SPOC gave a brief introduction of Toycathon 2021 and the event coordinated by Dr. T. D. Das.
