Welcome to the Training and Placement Cell of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Arunachal Pradesh!
It is my pleasure to highlight the accomplishments and strengths of our institute. In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) of 2023, our institute proudly secured a rank between 100 and 150. Additionally, we achieved the 4th rank among all the NITs and Band A (Rank Between 11th and 25th) among the categories of Institute of National Importance, Central Universities, and CFTIs in the ARIIA Rankings 2020. As an Institute of National Importance established by an Act of Parliament and the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, NIT Arunachal Pradesh continues to uphold its distinguished reputation.
Our institute's excellence is built on a foundation of high-calibre students, dedicated faculty, robust infrastructure, and a culture of innovation. Students here are admitted based on their performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) - Mains, ensuring that we attract some of the brightest minds in the country. Our faculty members, who hold qualifications from leading national and international universities, are committed to advancing knowledge through high-quality research and publications.
We have developed state-of-the-art laboratories across all departments, and our campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, creating an environment conducive to learning and research. For the academic year 2024-25, we are proud to have 321 graduates, including 76 women, who have all undergone rigorous training and internships with prestigious organizations such as Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Bosch, ONGC, HPCL, TATA, JSW, ISRO, DRDO, BHEL, Power Grid, Ambuja Cement etc.
NIT Arunachal Pradesh also offers a vibrant campus life with numerous clubs and societies like Coding Pundits, GDSC, Robo Club, Akalpana (Photography Club), MeloMakers (Music Club), Melange, NCC, NSS, EBSB, Think India etc. These clubs and societies play a crucial role in enhancing the technical and cultural skills of our students beyond the classroom.
Our students are equipped with the technical skills, analytical abilities, computer proficiency, and general awareness needed to excel in their careers. We take a holistic approach to education, ensuring that our graduates are not only skilled professionals but also individuals with strong ethical values.
