Alumni Association has started the Special Interactive Talk Session by our Alumni for our present students through online. These talks may depend on some new technologies, their experiences, career growth, motivational talk, the work environment in industry, etc which will be fruitful for our present students. 

In this context, Mr. Himanshu Pillai, Batch: 2010-14 (CSE) has given the talk on “HPC Runtime System” on 12/07/2020. He is currently a Senior Software Engineer at National Centre for Atmospheric Research, Boulder CO. previously he worked at research facilities like Oak Ridge National Lab (Tennessee), French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission: CEA - LIST (Paris) and Barcelona Supercomputing Center (Spain). His research focuses on High Performance Computing, Parallel Programming Models and GPU Optimization. He worked on Earth System Modeling Framework (ESMF), Energy Exascale Earth System Model (E3SM), Weather Research and Forecasting Model (WRF), HIL for self driving car and Human Brain Project (HBP).
